Good to know.

The key questions for your practice.

Can I work through my whole client base?

That is what the practice version is designed for. DATEV exports bring your clients into one overview. With their energy bills and consumption data added, truhe ranks potential refunds from highest to lowest and prepares each client’s paperwork.

Is a DATEV export enough to calculate a claim?

No. Accounting entries help identify potential cases. The calculation also needs energy bills, consumption figures and verified business details. Accounting amounts alone do not establish eligibility.

What is included in the paperwork pack?

The planned output is one PDF per client and consumption year: the calculation, bill summary, prepared application details and filing guidance. A cover letter is optional. The details are prepared for the relevant Zoll portal applications: 1453 for electricity, 1118 for natural gas and heating oil. The original bills remain separate files.

Which clients is truhe designed for?

Businesses that may qualify for electricity tax relief under § 9b StromStG or energy tax relief under § 54 EnergieStG, including manufacturing, agriculture and forestry businesses. You determine whether each business meets all the requirements.

Who reviews and submits the claim?

You check eligibility and results, fill any gaps and transfer the details to the online application in the Zoll portal. There, you add the required attachments and submit the claim. truhe prepares the paperwork; it does not provide tax advice or submit claims automatically.

What does the practice version cost?

The planned monthly practice licence covers unlimited clients. Pricing is available on request.

Where is the data processed?

The practice version is designed for local processing, including offline use after initial loading and setup. DATEV files, bills, calculations and paperwork are intended to stay on your computer. Initial loading, text-recognition setup and updates may need an internet connection, as may contact, orders and billing. Contact, order and billing details are handled separately. Submitting a claim through the Zoll portal requires an internet connection.

Is the practice version available yet?

The practice version, including DATEV import, is still in development. You can request early access. The preview shows the planned workflow.
